    Yes, it is especially beautiful isn't it. And the amazing thing is the underside is just as pretty, but looks nothing like this with the exception of the design along the edges of the wings.

    I was just reading a day or so ago about your butterfly larvae and the great caterpillar escape, lol. (For you other visitors Nature Mama shares some of her experiences raising tadpoles from frog eggs, butterfly caterpillars from larvae, and such. Plus recently she kept us abreast of the robins that built a nest right outside her kitchen window and raised a family. The photo's were great.)
