The red,white, and blue.
Love the blue metallic color of the butterfly.
Hey, Rose.Yes, it is especially beautiful isn't it. And the amazing thing is the underside is just as pretty, but looks nothing like this with the exception of the design along the edges of the wings. Thanks for dropping by. Baker

What a neat idea for Independence Day! Love the butterfly, so beautiful :) Hope you are enjoying your weekend,Nature Mama
Thanks Nature Mama. Hope your weekend is going well, too. I was just reading a day or so ago about your butterfly larvae and the great caterpillar escape, lol. (For you other visitors Nature Mama shares some of her experiences raising tadpoles from frog eggs, butterfly caterpillars from larvae, and such. Plus recently she kept us abreast of the robins that built a nest right outside her kitchen window and raised a family. The photo's were great.)
What a beautiful post to celebrate the 4th July.....
Thanks cheryl. I really appreciate that.Baker

I think that butterfly looks awesome! I might show that to my girlfriend...perhaps a nice tattoo too!
Hi Wayne. Thanks for the visit and let me know if that tattoo should come about. It might make for a great post in the future, lol. I'm already thinking of potential titles for the post.
Thanks for stopping by to visit our little pond. We would love to see you again real soon.
